This Privacy Policy explains how RINO CONSULTING INC ("we," "us," or "our"), which operates the RideByText text-message ride booking service (the "Service"), collects, uses, and protects your information.

1. Information we collect

• Mobile phone number and the contents of the text messages you send us.
• Trip details: pickup and drop-off addresses, the ride option you select, and booking, trip, and receipt details.
• Payment information: when you enter your card using your phone keypad, the card is collected and stored by our third-party payment processor. We do not store your full card number. We keep only limited details such as card type and last four digits.
• SMS consent records: the date and time you first texted us, and any STOP, START, or HELP requests.

2. How we use your information

• To check your addresses and get ride prices from Uber and Lyft.
• To book the ride you choose, and to send you quotes, confirmations, driver and trip updates, and receipts.
• To charge the ride fare and our service fee through our payment processor.
• To provide customer support, prevent fraud, and meet legal obligations.

We do not use your information for advertising, and we do not send marketing text messages.

3. How we share information

We share only what is needed to provide the Service:

• Ride providers (Uber and Lyft): your pickup and drop-off addresses and the details needed to book and complete your ride.
• Service providers: our payment processor, our text messaging provider, and our address/mapping provider, who process data only on our behalf.
• Legal: when required by law, or to protect the safety and rights of riders, drivers, or the public.

4. SMS and mobile information

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing to subcontractors in support services, such as customer service and message delivery, is permitted. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

We never sell, rent, or trade your mobile phone number, your SMS opt-in data, or your consent to anyone, including third parties, affiliates, or lead generators.

You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to (929) 600-6427. Reply HELP for help. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.

5. Data retention

We keep trip and message records for as long as your account is active and for up to 3 years after your last ride, so we can handle receipts, disputes, and legal or tax requirements. Saved payment cards stay with our payment processor until you ask us to remove them. You can ask us to delete your information at any time, except where we must keep it by law.

6. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards, including encrypted connections and access controls. Card data is handled by a PCI-compliant payment processor. No system is perfectly secure.

7. Your choices and rights

• Reply STOP to stop all texts.
• Contact us to see, correct, or delete your information, or to remove a saved card.

8. Children

The Service is for people 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

9. Changes

We may update this policy. We'll post the new version here with a new "Last updated" date.
